Bums

I think it is official, we are beach bums. We have our own shelter and wish they would let us camp/live on thbeach. But alas they don't. We have been 3 times in the past week! It really is fun and relaxing and we come home and crash.




It hasn't been all fun, Eric did his first solo flight yesterday.

And we have fun company again. Eric's sister was here and spoiled the girls and Great Grandma and Grandpa stopped by again. We are enjoying Eric's parents thru Sunday.




All for now....off to the beach, just kidding -maybe.

what a month!

Wow!! how fast a month can go by! We have had lots of company and been very busy. We are doing well, enjoy the pictures.

Updates from this week,

The camel had her baby on Sunday! Finally, she has been due since December...talk about going late!

Eric started IFS today and has 2 or 3 flights this weekend already. Hurray!

Walmart portrait ruined the film that Laurelei was on, pictures I had hoped to send out this week...I'm not happy at all about this, we are working on a new solution that won't take a month. It was really cute...she had angel wings. The really upsetting part is that no one called me to let me know about this 3wks ago when it happened. So today when I showed up to pick them up imagine my surprise, and anger when I learned this! To top it off the sales lady began by being uncaring and flip about it and then turned rude when I asked her about it. I informed her that she had no right to be rude to ME WHOSE FILM WAS RUINED weeks ago and not told about it. I have filed a complaint, but arg! that moment is gone!

Ok, all for now. Hope to have pictures soon...but no promises as you can see this has turned into an issue.

We have had a busy, fun and fantastic time with our friends in town. CJ's best friend from Grand Forks who now lives in Altus came to visit! We have been to the zoo, parks, Chuck E Cheese's and tomorrow we are heading to the beach! The girls have been having fun and being two. Emma is a few months older and has a very clear vocabulary so it has been fun to watch CJ and her play together --or argue as toddlers do. We will be sad to take them back to the airport on Saturday. Hopefully in October we can go and visit them. Here is a picture from CEC, and it kinda sums it up.
