YEA!!!

Today Laurelei decided to roll over! I'm pretty sure it was on accident and it scared her, but she did it all by herself, and I missed it. I put her down for some Tummy time and began to clean the counter and scrub the stove. She began to fuss and really cry and I turned around and she was on her back! CJ did the same thing and I missed her first roll over too. Shucks.
On other news, Eric finished his IFS training and had a great final flight! Now on May 11th he'll begin API. We're doing some more hurry up and wait.
Possibly most shocking, we haven't been to the beach at all the past two weeks. Not sure what we have been doing, but we've been busy. Every day CJ asks about the beach...we really need to get back there, but tomorrow is T-storms again. Hmmm.

2 months old!

Laurelei had her 2 month check up today. Hate those shots! She is 10lbs 5oz and 23 inches long. Doing really well and is really good at holding her head already. Here are some snap shots I got back recently, CJ loves being a big sister!

Rain

It was cloudy yesterday and looked like rain so we went to the flea market...yesterday afternoon it began to rain and continued all thru the night. This morning it had stopped but was still cloudy. After a bit of a debate and 2 days worth of withdrawal, we went to the beach today! Yes, it rained while we were there. Yes the red flag was out, but the waves were awesome to watch! The surfers were loving the waves. We stayed on the coast line and had a blast anyway!

We took our friends the Edmisters --some of the first and best friends we made in ND --they stopped overnight on their way home to Texas and really wanted to go to the beach. We all had a great time and miss them already! Our girls are each 6months apart from each other and as you can see, the babies enjoyed sleeping on the beach while the big sisters played in the water, on the sand, and collected seashells.

We have said goodbye to another round of friends and family. We miss them all already and are ready to hear when more might visit. Tomorrow it is back to routine. Eric flies his first cross country. And as I look at our schedule, it looks like we might have to wait until Tuesday before we can head back to the beach. ;)
