Super Sunday

Today is Super Bowl Sunday and my internet is super slow.  Amazing how such a thing that barely existed, and certainly not in it's current form, fifteen years ago, can grind us all to a halt on any given day.

I thought I would share today some super special pictures we have.  Consider it supersized with pictures.

First off, this guy is as smart as his daddy! And he rolls over now from tummy to back. His biggest cheerleaders, his older siblings who can't get enough of his new "trick".
 And loved by many!
Sweetness is not feeling super good today, but this was her on the first day of dance last month:
A super hard worker, this week she moved up to level 4 and will compete in her first meet outside her own gym in March!

Super Great grandparents and super silly conversations!
 Super special aunts

super extended family picture on Eric's side.
My side is super not normal I think -but in a fun way.

Super great grandmas getting their cuddles in and telling him all about his super family.

Super fun times!
The girls are super speed demons it turns out!
 The super hedghog
Gotta throw in a picture of super mom too (wink wink).

Super cool finger puppets of the nativity!

I'm super tired now.  If you get a chance to take a nap today, please take one for me.  Have a Super Sunday!

Three Months

This post is just to prove that I'm not not taking any pictures of baby #4...as parents everywhere document every moment they can get with baby #1, that if there are more babies, often time the novelty has worn off.  And maybe in some ways it does. However, I am doing my best to make sure that when he is grown he can't say, "the only pictures you have of my life are one from the hospital, one when I was three, and the ones I took of myself in high school".

And it happens to be, the little baby is now three months old!  I find that just unbelievable, except, the way he is loved on, it's as if he's been here the whole time, and he is fiercely protected by each and every older sibling.  Watch out!

 Happy baby all the time!
Eager to get her turn to hold him, look how big he's gotten!
Lots to say, when he can get a word in edge wise.
 Maybe not always happy.
Really? Can he really be 3 months old already?
Bunny ears and photo bombing, that's how we roll.
See just smiles ALL THE TIME!

Joy and contentment

Hanging out together, both very content!

Just call me the prince and this is my throne.
Not surprising, he loves to sit in his high chair, in the kitchen where all the action is taking place. He even helped me stamp cards the other night, but I plead the fifth on where the glitter on his head came from.

The other day I heard  Doodle moving around and singing in his bed. So I grabbed the camera to get it on tape.  Of course the moment he saw me he stopped and stared. He did start to dance again, but it took a little bit of coaxing to get him to talk, sing or even smile.  CJ had him in fits of giggles and I tried to catch that as well. But you can see a yawn, so he was done by the time I had the camera ready.

As we near 3 months, I am so happy that everyone has completely embraced Doodle as an important part of our family.  They can't keep their hands off him, literally.  He has a hard time getting good naps because everyone is always checking on him.

E-I-G-H-T

8!

We now have an eight year old in the house. I tried to stop it. I told her she had to be able to spell it first. Eight is tricky! But she got it! One smart cookie she is!  Celebrations actually began while we were in IA. On the big day, we took fruit kabobs to her class.

After school we had lefsa as her birthday treat instead of cake.
Then on Saturday, we headed to the U of A first home meet with a couple of her friends.

They even got their picture with Wilma!
After the meet, each girl got a poster of the team and each lady autographed it for them!
Sweetness had fun at the meet and getting her own poster.
A fantastic time was had by all!

The one request she had for a gift, was season tickets to the gymnastics meets. It was an easy one to fill and she was thrilled to open the tickets! All but one home meet this year is on Saturday afternoons, which works out really well with her own gymnastics practice schedule.
