3300 miles, round trip
Seven states, twice.
CJ slept, yes I said slept, for a total of 45 mins, once -on the return trip.
We drove 5 out of 6 days in rain.
Kids did WONDERFULLY! And no, they don't have their own movie players, gameboys or other such devices, they did once a day get to watch one movie, but other wise it was coloring, books, small toys, songs and games.
Counted lots of things, trains, planes, purple cars, golden arches How many times we passed the same SWIFT truck...3 was final count.
3 pit stops in 48 miles...not all the time, but at times we couldn't get our bladders together, even though nearly everyone went each time.
We had a good time in Iowa and really we do seem to enjoy traveling together, 3 kids, dog and all. Thanks for a good time.
Lots and lots of pictures to sort through....they will be coming.
The next 10 days are packed with various activities....right back into the swing of things it looks like.
