We had spring conferences this week. CJ got a very good report...enthusiastic about learning, very helpful and kind to others, never moves her star --which will be a very crushing day for her when that happens, based on her determination to NEVER move it. It may not be in kindergarten, it may not be during first grade, but at some point I am betting that she will move her "star" --and I'm guessing it'll be for chatting. It is wonderful to hear how well she is doing with her school work and how much her teacher likes to have her in class.
They have been studying community helpers the past couple of weeks. It has been really nice that her teacher has shared pictures from some of their visitors. I believe this was Border Patrol day.
She is also starting first communion classes on Wednesday. She is very excited about the class and can't wait to learn more about Jesus. This means we'll have to move Wednesday gymnastics to Saturday for 3 weeks, which makes our weeks a little more busy for the next month. A good kind of busy.
