LOOK MA! I found the dog's dish! It's fun and yummy!  He also has his own word for Panther and clearly says it whenever she comes near, "Pa  Pa".

 One of the critters we had last week. A baby scorpion and the first we've had in the house! Considering we've had 4.5yrs for it to happen, that is pretty good.  It was a tiny baby, notice it is less than half the size of of a bobby pin.

Sunday, Sweetness was an acolyte for the first time. She was really excited and did a great job!

We also took care of these pests in our poor tomato plants last week. I think our count is at 20, I found one more this weekend.  We have lots of green tomatoes and I'm hoping it's not too late in our season for them to turn red. Otherwise, it will be adventures into green tomato recipes!  Kman and I took a day and "hunted" for caterpillars, which he enjoyed continuing the life cycle by feeding them to the neighbor's chickens. She was not so thrilled with his insistence on showing her how many we had found each time he showed up to feed the hens, but the ladies were very happy with the treat!
