She's not a baby anymore...
We have officially weaned from nursing. Yes she is 16.5 months and I am 3 months pregnant, but it was our special cuddle time. That is until recently. The one session a day had grown shorter, and then she bit me, and then this week, she bit again and laughed and thought it was a game. So it has been 3 days, and now she is looking and asking for it, but I hand her a sippy cup of milk. Since it didn't work out to nurse CJ, I cherished my nursing time with Laurelei, and look forward to the next baby.

such a big girl. I did both of mine to about 16 months. For me that was a good time to be done. It is a very nice cuddle time and is great for bonding.

Good job!!! You were an inspriation for my own attempt at nursing Tyson so thanks for your efforts and for showing me that even though it didn't work the first time it is still worth a try!!! Both Tyson and I have benefitted from your example and support!!! Good Job, you are a great mom!!!
We quit this week too! I got bit as well and she just was too busy to stay latched on for more than 5 minutes! It is such great cuddle time. I already miss it :(
