Old Farm Chicken Art Center

That's right, I heard about this place, you know surfing the web, one page led to another during a search and thought, hmmmm....we should go check it out.  So we are driving, 6 hours, if traffic isn't thick, on a field trip.  Look out Chicken Art, here we come.

What was that?

What about what?

Oh yeah, I might of heard of something...San Antonio possibly getting 20 inches of rain.  How crazy is that? A Hurricane??? Really??? Heading towards us?  A big one????  NO WAY!!!!

Hi, my name is Cyndy, and I am in denial about some little ol' Hurricane called Ike.

Very much dragging my feet, the girls and I will be heading to San Angelo for the weekend.  Six hours away without traffic.  Probably 158 billion hours tomorrow.  Eric is flying a plane to New Mexico to go golfing.  You think I'm kidding? I'm not.  He is taking his clubs with full intentions of golfing the weekend away.  The girls and I are caravaning with a neighbor and her kiddos and dogs, but I just don't want to leave.  I don't want to be stuck here with no power and some big storm surge either.  I don't want to live in a hotel with the kids and the dog.  Yes, I'm having a bit of a hissy fit.  I'll admit it.

We took down everything outside, and put it in.  The new play house is perfect in our living room.  We moved things upstairs, cuz I've always wanted a piano in my bedroom.  The girls packed their own clothes.  CJ as if we currently live in ND and are heading to Canada for the weekend.  The van is packed and garbage was picked up today so tomorrow when I dump everything out of the freezers and fridge it should be lovely to come back to in the trash can.

What am I taking?  The girls, paperwork, pictures and food.  Now if only I could find the little girls.

p.s. If it keeps shifting north, we may stay put.
