What are you blessed with today?

We have a place to call home and our health. We are able to provide for what we need and squirrel away for fun.  We are abundantly blessed.

I have been having some computer issues.  As I have been limping along with, a dinosaur in terms of a computer, I have also been trying to figure out how to make it happy.  No blue screen of death. No infectious virus. Just an aging machine that can not handle new updates to even the basic programs anymore.  And on the one hand, that is okay.  Then last Friday CJ won a prize and there was no way to make it work with the current machine we had.  Wait, let me take that back, there MIGHT have been a way. But because of the machine we have, it would have taken a specialist, and time, and ultimately for a couple of years, yes years, multiple people have been trying to get me to give up our dinosaur computer and move forward.

So move forward we did.  In fact, God had set us up for this to actually be a perfect, non bank breaking time to do so.  Okay, I don't know if God was also on the team to push me to a new computer, but ultimately things have worked out for it.  And I do Thank God for that!

Warning, hold onto your saddles, cuz I am BEHIND!  In fact I have many pictures to upload from my camera, yes I had even begun dreading importing pictures because of how it would tie the computer into knots for half the day and once done, refuse to shut the program down and let me do anything else.  And I still have a lot and I mean A LOT of playing to do.

I won't leave you completely hanging though.  Kjetil's new favorite program is the photo booth one. We played with it at the store and he remembered how to get to it once the computer was set up.*  While he just loves having the computer take pictures of him and all his goofiness, it does have some REALLY COOL features to play around with.

I present, space aliens:

Check back soon!

*part of my goal with the new computer is to make sure the kids don't hijack it from me. They had created shortcuts on the last one that I had no idea about and they didn't feel the need to share with me.  These kids growing up with all of this technology makes me realize that they are more computer savvy than I am, I only have better reading skills, at the moment.
