A stop in Scottsdale

We made a stop at a train museum in Scottsdale.  It is a whole park area, open to the community.  With a few things that required tickets. An easy place to spend a day with a picnic!

 This train was used for 4 different Presidents, including Wilson's Whistle stop campaign!

The recently opened the model train museum. I learned there is a lot more for me to learn about the obsessive hobby of model trains.

 Such as, there are different scale models, and real trains are considered prototypes.

They are continuing to set up the 3 different models they have on show. Large areas with multiple tracks. It would be fun to go back and see each one completed.

There wasn't just 1 train we could ride, there were 2!

We spent a whole day, checking out the sights and watching the trains.  Everyone had a wonderful time!
