Where are we????

We visited the wildlife park, Out of Africa.

We rode a modified school bus for our Safari tour.

Fun Zebra Fact.  Females are pregnant for 13 months. Typically they get pregnant, the day after their baby is born.  So, female zebras are ALWAYS pregnant.  Be glad you're not a zebra.

Is he black with white stripes or white with black stripes?  Both!

Hello there...were you looking for a ride? or cookies?
His birth certificate says he was born extra wrinkly,
 Water buffalo

And this creature, is apparently the most violent around, as in a species not as in at this park. Wish I could remember his name was or just what he is...I was too busy keeping an eye on him to pay that close attention.
 This is Chili Pepper.
This is one of her eggs.  The equivalent of 2 dozen regular chicken eggs.

Sweetness and K-man were eager to feed the camel.
This was his face when he returned to his seat.
FYI: When camels "spit", they empty their entire stomach contents.  If you irritate a camel, expect to be covered in disgusting green slime!

 Corkscrew antelope

I don't remember the name of these cows, but they were the first animal that people figured out that could be domesticated.
And those fancy HUGE horns, radiate heat away from her body! On males, those things can be a foot wide at the base of each horn.

And that concludes our Safari tour.  Most of the animals.  I didn't get a picture of the squirrel ladders they have in the water tanks.  Apparently squirrels were getting in for a drink and drowning. Our tour guide, and manager of the area, hated the idea of the squirrels dying so they made ladders so the squirrels could get out. They care about all animals, not just safari ones.

Come back for the predator animals next time!
