I couldn't believe my ears a couple of nights ago when the weather report said the biggest winter storm yet, was headed our way.
Well just shortly after Noon today, it began to spit, sleet and quickly snow. Forty five minutes later this is what our back yard looked like:
My plants, my seedlings, I worked so hard to cover last night, and remained covered all night and this morning, became uncovered as the storm blew in. They are blanketed by snow. Crossing my fingers. Yesterday, this is how our beautiful seventy degree weather looked:
By 3:00 the snow stopped, for an hour, and this is how covered my van was.
Then, it began to snow again. The kids got out in it though.
Kman still won't sled. but he made tracks and had his own fun. If you live where snow is common this time of year, you probably think, big deal. Well around here it IS a big deal. My only wish is to get a real snow day out of all this, but we won't. Thurs and Friday are Rodeo days, which means, no school for us.

What a great way to spend Rodeo Days! A rodeo in your own backyard. Too bad that Kman didn't want to participate.....
