Doing time

It was ironic that they were joyfully eating rice and beans this particular day.

I had set them up at their table eating lunch, grabbed new clothes for Kjetil, and when I returned this is what I found.

They were doing time, sitting on the floor, under the table eating their rice and beans.

 I don't think they were eating off the floor since they still had their plates.

The kids table abandoned.

The scene just reminded me of lunch break on a work crew...sit where you can, eat your rice an beans.
