We started with 2 broccoli plants and 2 strawberry plants.
Keeping Kjetil from digging them out was a challenge the first couple of days.
We still have 2 broccoli plants, but only one strawberry.
And while yesterday's high was suppose to reach 82 degrees, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of last week we got down into the low to mid twenties. So they got covered up.
You can see the broccoli bumping the top!
It's a fun thing to do with the kids...but I think unless one is very serious about it in the desert and has a green thumb...don't expect too much.
