She was so confident and did a great job!
She is already talking about next year!
No surprise, Sweetness thought the microphones were too loud.
And this little guy may be our next speller.
During the kindergartners, one speller had the word yellow. As the student spelled, Y-E-L,
Kjetil took that as his cue and loudly said L-O-mmfph (that was me putting a hand over his mouth) and the speller finished L-O-W.
I don't remember the very next word, but he did it again. I explained we needed to be very quiet.
Then during the first grade turn, a speller was spelling EXTRA...she had all but the A...and before she said it, he piped up again, loudly, A!
The parents around us were astonished and in giggles....as I was trying to keep my hand over his mouth.
The sensible side of me believes he was just mimicking what he was hearing...however the timing was impeccable and is correctness, chilling.
